Where am i

Lessons I have learned thus far in my 4 years into the global role.

1. You cant make people “do” something with just authority.

2. One has to inspire them to do a task. Better yet show them the way.

3. Listen not just with ears but with heart and mind.

4. Study how one is motivated and how one has to tap into such, not manipulating but encouraging people to see your perspective.

5. Finally, be humble that one does not have the ideas or solution of the world.

15 year of service

This year would be my 15th year of service to the company. Its amazing how time flies. Back when I was a newbie engineer, I would often marvel at the length of time my predecessors have spent in the same company getting awards here and there.

As I reflect back, who are the people whom I admire that I would want to emulate?

1. Passionate – those with sense of vision and direction.

2. Proactive – those who are always one step ahead of the game.

3. Practical – those who knows when to say YES lets do it to No that is a good idea but not in the right time.

4. Articulate – those who can communicate the task and what is needed to be done.
